Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival
October 7, 2022 - October 9, 2022
THE 21ST ANNUAL DUNGENESS CRAB & SEAFOOD FESTIVAL
CrabFest welcomes each and every one of you to one of the best seafood festivals in the country. Located on the Port Angeles waterfront, CrabFest is the annual celebration of the Olympic Peninsula’s diverse bounty — the seafood, agriculture and aquaculture, maritime history, cultural traditions and the breathtaking coastal environment. Just a few miles from Dungeness Bay, this is the home of the Dungeness crab where we celebrate the region’s famed crustacean and Olympic Peninsula cuisine. Enjoy the abundance of the Olympic Peninsula, its communities, and all that the Festival has to offer!
Come for the Food & Good Times!
From the Native American heritage to delicious Olympic Coast Cuisine and partnering with local environmental educational organizations to create a better understanding of the natural resources and issues facing the Olympic Peninsula, the annual CrabFest works to bring together our diverse communities and celebrate all of our traditions. The Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival admission is always FREE!
Exceptional and delicious food, beverages, and live music abounds at the Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival in the First Fed Crab Central Tent, on the City Pier, and in and around The Gateway Pavilion. Check out the old-fashioned Crab Dinner every day at the Crab Central Tent. This year the tent seating is at 50% capacity with social distance seating and lots of air-flow.
There’s plenty of other fun to be had during the festival on the City Pier. There you can find crab-to-go (fresh whole Dungeness crab cleaned, cooked, wrapped). This year you can hear Live Music on two stages, roam over 75 craft, merchant, nonprofit and food booths, watch the U.S. Coast Guard Air-Sea Rescue demonstration on Saturday, along with the 5K Fun Run, and the Port Angeles Rowing Association demonstration. Visit the Feiro Marine Science Center (small admission charge). You might even see whales and seas lions from the pier tower!
The Olympic Peninsula is a unique destination. And if you stay anywhere on the North Olympic Peninsula, from the Port Townsend area to Forks, you can enjoy the true Olympic Peninsula experience and visit the Crab Festival, all on the same weekend! The Sequim area is 25 minutes east of Port Angeles, and Forks is less than an hour west, and just a few minutes from our amazing Pacific coast. The national treasure that is the Olympic National Park is literally a few miles up the hill from downtown Port Angeles.
CrabFest is located in downtown Port Angeles right on the waterfront at the City Pier, Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles Harbor parking lot, and Gateway Plaza
