Florida Infused Olive Oil

This herb-filled olive oil makes the perfect dipping oil for bread and cooking oil for seafood. Play around with your own herbs and spices to create a one-of-a-kind flavor-filled dish.

Prep Time5 mins

 1.50 cups good olive oil
 1 cup peeled garlic
 ¼ cup key lime juice (or fresh limes if available)
 1 tsp salt
 ½ tsp dried oregano
 ¼ tsp cumin powder

Prepare Oil

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Mix garlic, salt, olive oil in 6-inch x 6-inch baking dish.

Bake for 50 minutes.

Remove from oven and add lime juice, cumin and oregano and stir to blend ingredients.

Return to oven for another 20 minutes or until garlic turns golden.

Remove from oven and mash garlic with fork to break up a bit.

Let cool to room temperature and place in glass jar.
