The perfect warm spice for the Fall. Use it in soups or pastas for a punch of flavor and excitement. While you can purchase pre-made Zaatar spice, I prefer making and grinding my own spices for the freshest flavor.

Note: You can purchase many of these ingredients from a local spice store or online.

Ingredients
 1 cup dried thyme
 ¼ cup dried marjoram
 ¾ cup ground sumac spice
 ¾ cup toasted sesame seeds
 ½ tsp ground cumin
 ½ tsp ground coriander
 ½ tsp ground fennel
 ½ tbsp ground anise
 ½ tbsp cinnamon
 ½ tbsp sea salt

Mix above ingredients together well

Store in glass container in a cool, dark place
